Essential Duties and Responsibilities:.

  • Maintains a visible presence in the kitchen and dining room and delivers all items in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Maintains daily knowledge of all company promotions, tournaments, special events, etc.
  • Makes sure MeyersUSA’s highest quality standards of Food and Beverage service and products are maintained.
  • Serves all guests according to established standards of service.
  • Communicates customer requests to assigned server and relays guest complaints and compliments to the appropriate manager in a timely manner.
  • Is knowledgeable of dining room seating plans including sections, table numbers and seat numbers; knowledgeable of restaurant systems and expediting systems.
  • Communicates with the servers and expeditors; checks order duplicates for correctness; communicates discrepancies to the expeditor.
  • Is familiar with all menus; menu specifications; menu abbreviations.
  • Completes all set-up and closing duties in a timely fashion.
  • Maintains knowledge of menu cuisine and special items featured in the restaurant.
  • Demonstrates a courteous, friendly, congenial, polite, professional and efficient attitude.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Working during weekends, holidays and peak business periods may be required, including working any shift/day designated by the department.
  • Customer service orientation should consist of organization, the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and the ability to work in teams.
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace for several hours.
  • A High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • A minimum of six (6) months of experience in a fast-paced, high volume food service or customer service environment required.
