This position is a production and service position for the pastry program at Agern restaurant. Tasks include but are not limited to: production of delicious desserts and pastries, participating in the service of desserts and pastries, maintaining high quality of mise en place.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepares and helps develop exciting, innovative, and delicious desserts and pastries for MeyersUSA rooted in the principles of the New Nordic cuisine.
  • Oversees the setting up, cleaning, stocking and maintaining of all pastry areas of the kitchen according to company/departmental standards of time, levels, order and appearance.
  • Follows proper procedures, baking methods and sanitation of all
  • Monitors all aspects of food service daily in assigned area to ensure quality, sanitary preparation and presentation. Adheres to all sanitation guidelines to achieve an “A” rating by the Department of Health.
  • Adheres to all departmental and company policies and procedures as well as local, state & federal laws - including but not limited to standards of conduct, attendance, appearance, cash handling, confidentiality, safety, service and sanitation.
  • Must arrive to work on time and prepared to work when scheduled.
